Oral Antidiabetic Combination (SGLT2 Inhibitor + Biguanide)

Product Information

XIGDUO 10/1000mg Tablet contains two medicines: dapagliflozin and metformin, both belonging to the class of oral antidiabetics. It is prescribed for adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus when blood sugar cannot be adequately controlled with diet, exercise, or other medicines.

  • Dapagliflozin lowers blood sugar by helping remove excess glucose through urine.
  • Metformin reduces glucose production in the liver and improves the body’s response to insulin.

By lowering blood sugar levels, XIGDUO helps prevent long-term complications of diabetes, including kidney damage, cardiovascular disease, nerve problems, vision loss, and risk of amputations.
