Why is this Medication Prescribed?

Tadaup 5 mg is prescribed to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in adult men by improving the ability to achieve and maintain an erection.

Uses

• Helps men with erectile dysfunction or sexual impotence to maintain an active sexual life.

• Relieves symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) (prostate enlargement).

• Combining alcohol with tadalafil may increase dizziness and can make it difficult to get or maintain an erection.

• Alcohol may also raise the risk of fainting, low blood pressure, or reduced effectiveness of treatment.

• Seek medical help if you experience severe reactions after alcohol use.

⚠️ Heart Rhythm & Blood Pressure Safety Warning

This medicine may affect heart function and blood pressure.

• Do not take if you are on nitrate medications for chest pain (e.g., glyceryl trinitrate).

• Tell your doctor if you have a history of heart attack, stroke, arrhythmias, or uncontrolled hypertension.

• Seek medical help immediately if you experience chest pain, dizziness, or fainting during sexual activity.

Special Precautions

• Do not take if you are allergic to tadalafil.

• Avoid use if you had a heart attack or stroke in the last 3–6 months.

• Not recommended for women or children under 18.

• Avoid use if you have severe liver disease, eye/vision problems, or uncontrolled cardiovascular disease.

• Do not combine with other erectile dysfunction drugs.

• If you overdose, contact a poison control center or go to the nearest emergency department.
