Seta 100mg Tablet is an antidepressant belonging to the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) group of medicines. It is prescribed for depression, anxiety-related conditions such as obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), panic disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). It may also be used for premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD).
- Can be taken with or without food.
- Dose and duration are determined by your doctor.
- Treatment usually starts with a low dose that is gradually increased.
- Do not change your dose or stop taking without medical advice.
- Stopping suddenly may cause withdrawal symptoms (anxiety, restlessness, dizziness, sleep disturbances).
- Take at the same time each day, preferably in the morning if sleep disturbance occurs.

⚠️ Serotonin Syndrome Warning
This medicine may rarely cause serotonin syndrome, a potentially life-threatening condition, especially if taken with other serotonergic medicines (such as MAO inhibitors, other SSRIs/SNRIs, triptans, or St. John’s Wort).
- Symptoms include agitation, hallucinations, rapid heartbeat, changes in blood pressure, fever, muscle stiffness, loss of coordination, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea.
- Stop the medicine and seek emergency help immediately if these occur.
