OFRAMAX 1gm Injection is an antibiotic belonging to the cephalosporin group. It is used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections including those of the brain (meningitis), lungs (pneumonia), ear, urinary tract, skin and soft tissues, bones and joints, blood, and heart.

It may also be used to prevent infections during surgery. OFRAMAX is administered as an intravenous infusion (drip) or injected directly into a vein or muscle under the supervision of a healthcare professional.

Your doctor will determine the correct dose and duration of treatment. It is important to receive this medicine at evenly spaced intervals and to complete the full course even if you feel better, as stopping early may lead to the return or worsening of infection.
