Product Information

KETOCIP 1% Shampoo is an antifungal medicine used to treat fungal infections of the scalp and skin. It works by killing the fungus and stopping its growth through destruction of the fungal cell membrane.

  • Use only in the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor.
  • Apply regularly for best results.
  • Do not use more than prescribed — it will not speed recovery and may increase side effects.
  • Avoid leaving the shampoo on the scalp for more than 5 minutes.
  • If there is no improvement after 2–4 weeks, consult your doctor.

Special Precautions

  • Inform your doctor if you have:

Possible Side Effects

Common, usually mild and temporary:

  • Dryness

Less common but possible:

  • Diarrhea

Storage & Disposal

  • Store at room temperature, away from heat and direct sunlight.
  • Keep the bottle tightly closed and out of reach of children.
  • Do not use after the expiry date.
  • Dispose of leftover shampoo safely — do not pour down household drains.

Emergency Guidance

  • If severe allergic reaction occurs (rash, swelling, difficulty breathing), seek emergency medical help immediately.
  • If swallowed accidentally, go to the nearest emergency department or contact poison control.
  • For accidental eye contact, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention if symptoms persist.
