Product Information

ITRASHOOT (Itraconazole) is an antifungal medicine used to treat a wide range of fungal infections. It works by destroying the fungal cell membrane, stopping the growth of fungi and yeast.

Formulations include:

  • Oral solution: for oropharyngeal and esophageal candidiasis (oral thrush).
  • Capsules: for systemic fungal infections such as aspergillosis (lung infection), blastomycosis (Gilchrist’s disease), histoplasmosis (Darling’s disease), and fungal infections of the mouth, throat, vagina, fingernails, and toenails.
  • Tablets: for onychomycosis (fungal infection of toenails).

ITRASHOOT 100 Capsule should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor.

  • Swallow whole with food.
  • Take doses at evenly spaced times.
  • Complete the full course, even if symptoms improve early.
  • Stopping treatment too soon may cause recurrence or resistant infections.

⚠️ Cardiac Risk Warning

Itraconazole may increase the risk of heart failure or worsen existing heart conditions.

  • Do not use this medicine if you have a history of congestive heart failure, unless no other treatment options are available.
  • Tell your doctor if you develop shortness of breath, swelling in the legs/ankles, unexplained weight gain, or unusual fatigue.
  • Seek immediate medical attention if symptoms of heart failure appear.

Special Precautions

Before using ITRASHOOT, inform your doctor if you have:

  • Heart failure or history of heart disease
  • Liver problems (including jaundice)
  • Kidney disease
  • Weak immune system (including HIV/AIDS)
  • Pregnancy or the possibility of becoming pregnant

Important precautions:
