Product Information

Cremagel is used for the treatment of anal fissures (small tears in the lining of the anus). It promotes healing and relieves pain by relaxing the anal sphincter and increasing blood flow to the affected area.

This medicine is for external use only. Apply it exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Clean and dry the affected area before application.

The most common side effects include burning, irritation, itching, redness at the site of application, dizziness, headache, and occasionally rectal bleeding. Most reactions are mild and temporary.

Special Precautions

• For external/rectal use only; do not ingest.
• Inform your doctor if you have:
  • Severe rectal bleeding
  • Known allergy to diltiazem or other calcium channel blockers
  • Heart problems (low blood pressure, slow heartbeat)
• Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before use.
• Avoid driving or operating machinery if dizziness occurs.
• Do not use longer than prescribed without medical advice.

Possible Side Effects

• Store at room temperature away from heat and moisture
• Keep tightly closed when not in use
• Keep out of reach of children and pets
• Do not use after the expiry date on the package
• Dispose of unused or expired gel safely; do not flush into drains

Emergency Guidance

• Overdose (accidental ingestion): May cause very low blood pressure, dizziness, fainting, or heart rhythm problems. Seek emergency medical help immediately.
• Missed dose: Apply as soon as remembered. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one—do not apply extra gel.
• Severe reaction: Stop use and contact your doctor or emergency services if you experience sudden bleeding, severe irritation, or allergic symptoms.
