Product Information

Cozartan 100 Tablet is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and heart failure. Lowering blood pressure helps prevent future heart attacks and strokes. It is also effective in preserving kidney function in patients with diabetes.

This medicine may be prescribed alone or in combination with other drugs. It can be taken with or without food, during the day or at night, but should be taken at the same time each day for best results. Continue taking it regularly, even if you feel well or your blood pressure is controlled, as stopping suddenly may worsen your condition.

Lifestyle modifications—such as regular exercise, weight management, smoking cessation, reducing alcohol intake, and lowering salt in your diet—can enhance the effectiveness of Cozartan.

Cozartan is generally well tolerated. Dizziness, especially after the first dose, and headaches may occur. These usually improve over time.

Your doctor may monitor kidney function, blood pressure, and potassium levels during treatment. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before use.
