Betablock XL 25 Tablet belongs to a class of medicines called beta-blockers. It is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension), angina (heart-related chest pain), and irregular heart rhythms (arrhythmias). It is also prescribed to prevent migraines, future heart attacks, and strokes.

This medicine lowers the heart rate, reduces strain on the heart, and improves blood circulation. It may be prescribed alone or in combination with other medicines.
