Fluchrist 150 Tablet is used to treat fungal infections of the mouth, throat, vagina, and other parts of the body including fingernails and toenails. It works by destroying the fungal cell membrane, thereby stopping the growth of fungi.

Why is this Medication Prescribed?

Doctors prescribe Fluchrist (Fluconazole) to manage fungal infections when other antifungals may not be effective or when infections are recurrent.

Uses

• Fungal infections of the mouth and throat (oral thrush)
• Vaginal yeast infections

This medicine should always be taken for the full prescribed course, even if symptoms improve after a few days.

• Stopping treatment too early may cause the infection to return.
• Incomplete treatment can increase the risk of drug-resistant fungal infections.

Special Precautions

• Pregnancy: Do not take Fluchrist 150 Tablet if you are pregnant unless specifically advised by your doctor.

  • Liver disease (including jaundice or yellow skin)

• Long-term use: If treatment lasts more than a month, your doctor may monitor liver function.

• Dizziness with nausea or fainting
